Cost: $40 per person
This is a private event for our club members and their guests.
The Cleveland Wine School is similar to a Napa Valley tasting room. We will be lead through a sampling of 8 different wines by a certified wine consultant. Cheese, sausage and various appetizers will be provided to complement our wine tasting experience. We will compete for prizes in a “guess the grape” game. There will also be unique illini doorprizes.
Why are we doing this? To raise the funds to provide a scholarship for a student in the Cleveland area to attend the University of Illinois and to enjoy great wine with a fellow alumni!
How do I sign up? Since this is both a fund raiser and our spring event, you have several choices.
- Mail your name and guest(s) name(s) with a check made out to “Cleveland Illini Club” for the total amount to: Paul and Linda Brown, 6111 Willow Lake Drive?, Hudson, OH 44236
- You are not able to attend but want to contribute to the scholarship. Easy, just make your check made out to UIF (U of I Foundation) with the “Cleveland Illini Club scholarship” on the memo line and mail to the address above.
- I plan to attend, but am not able to send a check yet. No problem. Simply RSVP via e-mail with your name and the total number attending and pay at the door.
Space is limited to 40 people, so please mark you calendar and mail your check or RSVP by April 19th, 2010. If you would like to donate a door prize, help with set-up please or catering contact us via e-mail linda@clevelandillini.com or by calling (330) 342-3568.
